Better Life Vs Bitter Life

Are you among those who feel they are victims and that success is elusive? You have to learn not to be a victim, but a victor. You have become victim to you psychological patterns, your idiosyncrasies. These patterns, so often represent your failures, which do not allow you to celebrate outer success. Hence, in spite of success, you experience failures.

When you carry your hatred inside your mind and heart for long, your hatred will spoil your mind and heart. Learn to drop hatred as soon as possible. Your life, so often, is spoilt due to your differences with others. Differences with others need not end up as hatred. Differences are just differences, but the moment the mind gives them a name tag of hatred, mind and heart get polluted.

We are so often a product of society; human beings are social beings. We are impacted by social expectation. You have to be alert not to become a slave to society and at the same time respect society. You have to relate intelligently to society, lest you become a social slave. When you become a slave to society, you are afraid of society. Such fear will make your life ineffective.

With fear, you will not be able to discern facts of life. With fear, your perception will be distorted. Then instead of the actuality of life, only the illusion of life will be experienced. You have to drop fear. Then you will comprehend facts as facts, otherwise fear will distort facts to fit into its manipulations.

Also you tend to become victim to your inner conclusions, inner beliefs, and these could dominate your life. Your mind is not free from the victimisation by all the inner conclusions and beliefs and the external impact of society. If you are a victim of your conclusions, then your thinking is not free, it is bound. Such a bound mind can never think differently.

In management one talks of “out-of-the-box thinking”. So you can free yourself from conclusion and beliefs and operate from openness. All this needs psychological alertness, but most of us are psychologically lazy, We don’t want to change. It is easy to follow what has been decided. You need strength to think differently and not to allow fear to guide your life. You will do business better and live a better life rather than a bitter life.

Motivation is Greater Than Favour

Super achievers are not born. They are self made people. It is not external favours that makes one a super achiever but one’s own struggle. Super achievements it not got through inheritance but self acquired success. No one is born a billionaire but everyone is a potential billionaire. It is one’s own potential that makes one a billionaire or super achiever.

Nature does not discriminate between one person and another. Nature’s gifts come to everyone equally. It is the receiver himself who either utilises them or not. The so called deprived persons are in fact privileged persons. Their state of deprivation serves as inner motivation. When they see others are progressing it creates a string of incentives in the mind. It is this incentive that makes a person super. It inculcates a strong urge in the individual to make something of his life.

Any state of deprivation brings about a kind of brainstorming which enhances inner spirit. They enter the world of competition working to the full capacity. They develop the spirit of do or die. It is this spirit that leads then to success. Contentment kills motivation. Discontent activates one’s mind and trigger a fire within one to do hard work.

One who is born into a poor family and achieves success by way of struggle achieves one more thing which is more important than wealth-that is, intellectual development. His circumstances automatically develop an intellectual struggle in his mind. This struggle unfolds his inner capacity and consequently he emerges as an intellectually developed person. One who is born in state of affluence could become intellectually dwarfed while one who is born in poor circumstances could emerge as an intellectual giant. The laws of nature are greater than everything else. They are eternal: they cannot be changed. The law of nature in this regard tells that it is not ease but effort, not facility but difficulty that makes men.

The Path of Perfection

A perfect person is one who has completely abandoned all desires as a result of being fulfilled in the self by the self. It is desire that takes away your might and power. Desire comes in the way of success. Unlimited desires agitate the mind and cause stress. Desire enslaves and weakens you. To regain perfection you need to drop desire.

However desire cannot just be wished away. You can only take up a higher desire that is more gratifying. The lower fascinations drop of their own accord. From a desire to have a toy in childhood, as you grow the desire to possess the toy vanishes. Pick up intellectual ideal and the emotional ideal loses its charm. Take the final plunge to the spiritual desire and nothing will hold you back. All desires drop. You regain your immortal stature.

As you rise above desire, object of desire comes to you unsought. The way to gain the world is to escalate to higher realms. You will obtain the lower effortlessly. Thus, you become successful, happy and grow to your divine potential. With a powerful intellect that keeps the senses and mind subdued, you take off into higher realms.

Determining the Outcome

“Thou hast power only to act not over the result thereof. Act thou therefore without prospect of the result and without succumbing to inaction”. The allusion is to being dispassionate about the outcome and not assigning a personal pleasure-pain verdict. Pleasure-pain based assessment of the outcome contains seeds of despondency and dejection along with euphoria and elation. Keeping track of the outcome of you efforts is critical in determining the future course of action. An accurate impersonal reality check of the outcome of you efforts lends a vector attribute to subsequent efforts.

Adequate concern and analysis about the outcome “vectorises” future endeavours, particularly when the task to be achieved is monumental and distant. Reaffirmation of the trajectory in such situations remains the only solace and succour to cope with trials and tribulations on the arduous journey. Every endeavour has a scale element of physical hard work, sincerity and dedication. Genuine effort and vector dimension is about working smart in addition to working hard and this is what decisively impacts the outcome. Valour without strategy is either being immature or emotional. Emotion should remain as motivation and never take over navigation. Statistically it stands to reason that all cannot succeed.

Success and failure typically are complimentary. Ability to control the outcome would make the art of trying mundane and unromantic. Probability of failure elevates the efforts of courting success to an art form. The perspiration-inspiration rhetoric crucially needs navigation to ensure success. Action without prospect of outcome is undoubtedly spiritual but outcome without respect to direction is sophomoric.

How To Become A Super Achiever

If you have a unflagging determination to achieve your target, you will certainly do so. Determination to pursue the goal is the beginning and end is the formula of achieving success. Everyone is born with great qualities. Potentially every man is a Superman and every woman is a Superwomen. What is required is an insatiable desire to turn this power into actuality. Success is not a gift. It is the result of your own striving.

Recognising your own capability is the essence of striving. Everyone is born with some unique qualities and success depends upon discovering it and then utilising it with sound planning. Always remember that you are created and not a creator. You have to know your limitations and external compulsions. Missing out any one of these two aspects of life will lead only to disaster. Be ambitious and not an adventurist. Be confident about your goal but never lose your modesty.

Be clear about your target but never try to achieve it at the cost of another person’s success or peace of mind. You have to be good planner but keep away from any kind of corrupt practice. It is good to be a self made person but not by usurping others rights. Never succumb to a negative experience rather turn negativity into positivity. Remember that it is not your desire that determines the course taken by the external world. It is the adjustment of desire and external realities that leads to great success.

It is a fact that no one can overrule your ambition but it is also a fact that you cannot overrule the laws of nature. So, always be realistic. Acceptance of a reality is the most important principle of any kind of success. Every human being great or small is determined to live between two different sets of compulsions, limitation and advantages. Never go beyond your limits to that which are ultimately beyond your reach. Try to maintain balance between these two aspects of life and the result shall certainly be success. Life is not a smooth journey being fraught with all kinds of odd and unwanted situations. Accept reality rather than try to fight it.

Design To Bounce Back

Why remember those who never value us in the first place? Why recall repeatedly all those occasions when we were slighted or overlooked. We were never meant to take these things to heart. There is something inbuilt into life itself that could help us overcome trials and difficulties, a kind of survival mechanism that supports us, teaching to keep boosting ourselves and our self-esteem particularly when faced with flak. People are often judging us from perspective that is narrow. So what if the first draft did not make the mark? What if I failed in a task or if I did not measure up to the expectations of my colleagues. What if I was not as successful as others would like me to be?

The calm measured life that I have chosen to lead, no matter if it appears drab and dull to some may have been rich in content in ways that is not comprehensive to them. May be I am not right on top in my career and may be my ambition did not drive me to always be on top. Perhaps, I was like a neutral figure in the organisation that made heroes of showmen. Perhaps, I am remembered for other more enduring qualities like kindness and compassion. It was that rebuff that made me work harder and with greater concentration. It was the downgrade I received that made me assess myself more realistically and helped me build on my real individual strengths and resources. It was the unkindness of others or the cutting remarks made that made me value myself even more.

Life has so many facets and we do our best to simplify our responses and to unravel its complexities. The process is sometimes long and we are prone to discouragement on the way. But, as we travel and journey alone, we become more hopeful. Human mind can look at string of positives, building up faith and hope. Life calls all of us to be encouragers. We are after all co-travellers on the voyage of life. What would have happened if life did not survive the thousands of trials and errors that have gone into making of it?
